Visitors: Volunteers counted 1260 people viewing the seals. Visitors came from Russia (Siberia), Sweden, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, Canada, Maryland, South Carolina, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, Georgia, New Jersey, Washington, Indiana, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, and Michigan.

Disturbances: It was another good week for the harbor seals; there were no recorded disturbances caused by people.

Natural history notes: Grey whales often come close to shore during the Spring migration. A number have been seen, including a few moms with calves inside the surf zone. A large gopher snake has been noted a number of times hanging out at the overlook.
